Another great party at The BVFC hall. This time it was for my daughter's graduation. Hall is easy to deal with and I never have to worry that my party will be rained out. Thank you once again.

Back about 1985, I knew a firefighter named Louisa Egana. Just wondered if any one knew her or heard where she went!

Wm. W. Whittaker [born 1894] was my father-in-law and it was his son, [my husband] Wm. J. Whittaker who was in WWII 1943-45. So, it is another Wm. W. Whittaker that you are looking for. As far as I know the Wm. W. Whittaker family of Blauvelt, NY lived only in this NY area.

Its nice to see you have a picture of the 1963 Maxim F. That truck was donated to my department when you received a new one in 1984. The Maxim was our first truck and was our main engine until its retirement in 2007.

One addressed to him at co āGā st (sic) grp SCU3111 Fort Devens, MA
Another addressed to him at 44192m service co apo 18155 san franciso, just to name a few.
I am curious if this could be the same whittaker you have on your site and if he may have living relatives. I noticed a Sue Whittaker posted a notice on your site

Dear Sirs: I notice that on the list of "Past Presidents" you have Robert Whittaker as your first President. Robert Whittaker's Dad, William W. Whittaker was one of the founders, [founded during WWII while his son Jack was in service] He was also the FIRST PRESIDENT. I believe there were other founders along with him, one being Oliver Lewis and I can get the other names for you. I have clippings from the Nyack Journal of when William Whittaker died to give you proof of this. I was married to Mr. Whittaker's son WJ Whittaker or as the family called him "Jack", who died in 1985. The article also mentions that his son Robert served as president three terms. I believe this should be on your History Page. I hope I get a response to this. With thanks, Sue Whittaker
